Lidar Map



A Lidar map uses a transmitter to emit a lasar and a directional antenna to receive and measure the time and arrival of reflected pulses from distant objects. This map is conveying the level of flooding throught New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. This map is a Lidar map because of its use of light to measure the topography of New Orleans a directional antenna to receive and measure the time of arrival of reflected pulses from distant objects.
